I'm also a gardener, momma to Lorelai and dog mama to Charlie.
As a mother myself, I understand how precious these moments are, and I’m dedicated to making your experience stress-free, comfortable, and full of love.
I believe that newborn and family photography is more than just taking pictures—it’s about preserving the fleeting, beautiful moments that tell your family’s story. With a passion for capturing genuine connections and years of experience working with babies and families, I create a calm, baby-led experience that feels effortless and natural. My light, neutral, and minimalistic style ensures timeless images that you’ll cherish forever
Maybe I can thank my dad for that. For always following us around with a camera. He always wanted to remember us in the season we were in and now as a parent I understand why.
Photographs are so important for remembering seasons of life that have passed, but there also one of the only things that will be left us for our families to remember us by when we go. A little morbid, I know!
I wanted to go to college for art education but was swayed away. Years of business school and climbing the corporate ladder, I realized this wasn't for me. There was more to life out there and I wanted to pursue it.
If i'm being honest, it really started back because my dad was one of those dads that was always taking pictures of us. It was back in the day when point and shoots had just started becoming a thing (showing my age!). I loved using his camera around the house and took photographs of my grandmas garden and our puppies.
Flash forward to high school and I took three film classes and then my dad got me a camera when I graduated high school. I was so excited!
That I have a growing love for all things postpartum and motherhood? Being a momma is one of the most beautiful fast and slow rides I have ever been on. It has made me a better person and I forever grateful that I get to merge my two passions.
I am probably doing all of the mom things. We're hoping to homeschool and I try to be as hands on as I can! You might catch us thrifting, taking a walk around the neighborhood or spending time with family.
Man, there is something about steak and potatoes, ya feel me? Add a green to it and yum.
I'm a little bit of a hobbyist. I used to love showing dogs, competition target shooting with my brother, fishing with my husband, gardening when I bought my first home. these days you can catch me learning how to crochet or sew.
Enough about me. I look forward to getting to know you! Would you like to book me as a photographer for your wedding or inquire a photo session? Leave a message on my contact page and don't forget to tell me a bit about yourself!
